The 2025 edition of the Agreement concerning the International Carriage of Dangerous Goods by Road (ADR) is online.
This new edition entered into force on 1 January 2025. Nevertheless, due to the transitional measure in 1.6.1.1, the previous version ("2023 ADR") may continue to be used until 30 June 2025.
ADR is intended to increase the safety of international transport of dangerous goods by road. ADR aims to improve safety and security and to remove or reduce obstacles to the international carriage of dangerous goods by road between countries that are parties to the to the agreement. Its annexes are regularly amended and updated. They contain the conditions under which dangerous goods may be carried internationally.
