This Technical Guide has been developed by the competent authorities and their support organisations responsible for the transport of radioactive material. It is intended that this Technical Guide will be used within European Member States and that it will assist all European competent authorities responsible for the transport of radioactive material. It is intended that the Guide will assist them in formulating the scope of their various compliance inspections and enable the competent authority to meet its obligations for regulatory oversight.
